No drill bits or slots to accomodate themOct 03, 2009 I bought this drill because the picture showed the four drill bits that were like a Radio Shack version I've had for years.
I'm quite disappointed that the design has been changed.
I wish they would change it back or find some other, better, way to accomodate bits.

poorly madeJul 30, 2009 I purchased this drill for my 6yr old son. I am familiar with the hand drills my father used and thought this would be close to the same thing. well its not! my son likes to drill holes in wood. the first hole seamed to go well. Three holes later I could hear the gears slipping. If my six year old son is wearing it out already then this thing is poorly made, in other words, Junk!
PS: I gave it one star because it looks cool.
Fiskars PowerGrip Hand Drill: Came without bits as pictured.Jun 12, 2009 I bought this drill to replace the same kind that I've had for over 10 years that is starting to wear out. Since I could not find one in stores, I decided to try online. I was disappointed that this one though, did not come with the 4 bits as pictured with the description. It seems that if this drill is sold in two versions (with and without bits), the appropriate picture and description should accompany the particular vendor's listing so as not to confuse the buyer. Since there are no recesses for the bits, I guess I'll just have to file new grooves to store the old drill's bits with the little rubber band. Other than that, the new drill seems as sturdy and smooth operating as my old one.
NO DRILL BITS even if it advertises there are drill bitsMay 07, 2009 I had this drill for years, really nice for light projects, putting up curtain rods, hanging pictures, etc. I ordered this and the says it comes with four drill bits. They are shown in the picture! I got the drill, no bits. Its like its a knock-off drill, the indentations in the side that hold the bits are not there. The third party vendor Mcgradys absolutely refused to answer phone or email and I ended up getting a refund. Big pain.
If you find this product with drill bits, its terrific!

Good basic drillJan 29, 2009 I needed something simple for my son's science fair. This gives more power than most battery packs as long as you don't need volume applications.
